Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout Review and Giveaway

I LOVED Obsidian! Jennifer Armentrout did such an amazing job writing it; and if you haven’t read it, you should definitely read it now. I can not say enough good things about it :D
Obsidian follows a girl, Katy, who just moved to West Virginia from Florida. She expects her life to be boring there. and isn't looking to forward to it. Then, she meets her next-door neighbor: Daemon, a super hot guy who comes off to Katy as a total jerk and is also extremely rude to her.  Katy isn't afraid to argue with him back, though. When Katy ends up befriending his super sweet sister, Dee, she starts to spend more time with him and when he saves Katy’s life, she discovers he’s well-an alien.
I’ve already reread Obsidian three times. It's still so good every time I read it :) One thing I really liked about Obsidian was that Katy was a really awesome main character. She’s a book blogger :D and she doesn’t immediately start to like Daemon after he acts like a jerk towards her. Also, I thought it was great how Katy was not immediately okay with him being an alien; and did not just accept it right away. She was a really realistic main character and an awesome one!

Daemon was really amazing. At first, he seemed to be a total jerk, but he got a lot nicer as time went on and was so sweet towards Katy. He is definitely my favorite male main character that I’ve read about in a while. Obsidian was also really funny. It is definitely now one of my favorites! I'd give this book five out of five stars. I'm also giving away a copy of Obsidian with a signed bookmark for it.  The giveaway will run through June and my next giveaway should be in late June/July :)

Happy Reading!

Starting over sucks. When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.And then he opened his mouth.Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens. The hot alien living next door marks me.You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades. If I don't kill him first, that is.

Teasers:
“Will you show me what you really look like? You don't sparkle, do you?”

“Ash is going to kick your ass, Daemon."
Daemon's grin went up a notch. "Nah, she likes my ass too much for that.”
“I bet you think things through, right? Accept candy
from strangers and get into vans with a sign that reads free Kittens?”
