Dusty Reads #2

I'm taking part in a meme by Giselle at Xpresso Reads :) Dusty Reads is where you talk about a book that's been getting dusty on your shelf for a while.

Spoiled by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan

16-year-old Molly Dix loves her ordinary life in suburban Indiana, so when her single mother passes away, she is shocked to discover that her biological father is Brick Berlin, world famous movie star and red carpet regular.

Equally intrigued and terrified by her Hollywood lineage, Molly moves to Southern California and plunges head-first into the deep end of Beverly Hills celebrity life. Just as Molly thinks her new life and family couldn't get any stranger, she meets Brooke Berlin, her gorgeous and spoiled half-sister whom welcomes Molly to la-la land with a healthy dose of passive-aggressive "sisterly love."

Set against the backdrop of a sparkling and fashion-filled Los Angeles, this deliciously dysfunctional family soap opera will satisfy every reader looking for their next lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous beach read.
I got this book a few months ago since it sounded like a great contemporary read. The sequel, Messy, just came out so I'm probably going to start reading Spoiled soon. What's getting dusty on you shelf?

  4. Brooke sounds crazy. New daddy sounds like he either was forced to leave Molly's mom or left on his own, and molly sounds awesome!

    1. I don't think I'm going to like Brooke, but I I think Molly going to be great, too :)

  5. Lots of historical romance books are getting dusty... especially Elizabeth Hoyt's and Lisa Kleypas... Haven't had time to read them! Hope to finish most of them during the summer :)

And Spoiled sounds like a fun read, I'll be adding that to my TBR list :) Thanks for introducing it to us!
