7 Clues To Winning You by Kristin Walker Book Review

Seven Clues to Winning You
When a humiliating picture of Blythe goes viral, she's instantly the target of ridicule at her new school. To salvage her reputation, Blythe teams up with Luke to win the Senior Scramble scavenger hunt. But Luke is an unlikely ally and potentially can't be trusted.
Perhaps it's his Shakespearean witticisms that reel Blythe in despite her better judgment . . . or maybe she just craves the thrill of the game. But as the hunt progresses, their relationship heats up. Soon their madcap mischief spirals out of control. Blythe is faced with arrest and expulsion, among other catastrophes –until Luke shows her what the Scramble (and love) is really about.

I recently read and really enjoyed Seven Clues To Winning You. It was such a cute, fun read!

The book follows a girl, Blair, when she transfers to a new school and instantly makes enemies after canceling the annual school tradition, the scavenger hunt. She convinces Luke, a senior, to help her do the scavenger hunt under the table, without her father (the principal) ever knowing about it.

The thing that I loved about this book was the constant humor. Blair volunteers at this nursing home for two old ladies who can’t stand each other. The arguments they got into were hilarious and it was so funny what they ended up doing for Blair. Also, Blair made some friends who turned out to be really great people. There was plenty of humor throughout the entire book.
Their was some romance between Blair and Luke that I thought was really sweet. It wasn’t the main part of the plot, but it was cute. A lot of what Blair went through was realistic and overall, she was a very easy character to relate to. I’d give this book 4 out of 5 flowers and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a fast read!
