Chasing Jordan by Miranda Kennealy Book Review

Catching Jordan
What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though-she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.
But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Greeen moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?

After hearing so many good things about it, I finally read Catching Jordan. This book was one of the best contemporaries I’ve read all year!
Jordan is the quarterback for her football team. She’s a really good one, but her dad (who’s also a football player) doesn’t support her playing. When a new quarterback, Ty, arrives and is competition for her spot, she starts to really like him. At the same time, her best friend, Sam Henry, starts to feel as if she’s been pushing him away

Something that I really loved about this book were all the guys on the football team Jordan was on. They were so protective of Jordan and cared a lot about her. It was as if she has twenty or so older brothers :)
Also, Jordan has mainly only guy friends. Her best friend, Sam Henry, was amazing. He never let anything happen to her and cared so much for her. They had been friends ever since their were kids, which was also awesome. They also had such a great relationship with each other.

The other guy, Ty, I liked, but I didn’t think Jordan and him were right for each other. I felt terrible for all he had been through, but I thought he was definitely too overprotective of her.
The story told was also really great, along with the poems Jordan wrote between chapters. As she’s trying to get into the college of her dreams, she realizes a lot of things about herself and others along the way. She was such a great character! This book was also full of so much humor ;)

Besides not really liking Ty too much, I was a big fan of Catching Jordan and I would give it 4 out of 5 flowers.
