The Reluctant Bachelorette Blog Tour Stop

Unknowingly cast as the bachelorette for her town’s charity event, Taycee Emerson wants out. Especially when she discovers her old teenage crush, Luke Carney, is one of the bachelors and it's up to the viewers--not her--to decide which bachelors stay or go.
Coerced into participating, Taycee does what any self-preserving girl would do. She launches a subtle attack on Luke’s good name with the hope of getting him voted off the show. Unfortunately, Luke's an eye-for-an-eye kind of guy, and when he discovers what she's up to, it means revenge.
But when their pranks go south, will they screw up any chance they have at a future together, or will they be able to forgive and forget and prove that love really does conquer all?

I was looking forward to reading The Reluctant Bachelorette, since the premise sounded super cute. It turned out to be an entertaining, fun read :)

I liked Taycee as a character, but I found myself struggling to connect with her at times. I thought her grudge against Luke was pretty harsh and she was definitely stubborn, but overall, she was a good female lead. Luke, the love interest, was by far my favorite character. I loved the chapters told from his point of view and I thought he was pretty much the perfect guy ;)

The plot followed Taycee being the bachelorette on a bachelorette game show. A lot of scenes with the game show made me laugh. Also, the ending was the sweetest thing ever. I found it so sweet and romantic <3 I loved seeing Taycee and Luke gradually realize they had feelings that were more than just friendship for each other.

I'd recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet, and cute romantic read, I'd give it 31/2 out of 5 flowers.

There's also a giveaway for the book. Here it is:
