Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Books of 2012

This week's topic is your favorite books of 2012. It was so hard for me to narrow it down to just 10, but here are the books I loved the most this year:

-Defiance (Defiance, #1)Onyx (Lux, #2)Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1)The Friday SocietyThe Golden Lily (Bloodlines, #2)Black City (Black City, #1)Smart Girls Get What They Want Take a BowThe Selection (The Selection, #1)Of Poseidon (Of Poseidon, #1)

1.) Onyx by Jennifer Armentrout- She's one of my favorite authors, and Daemon and Katy were so amazing in Onyx. Daemon is also probably my favorite fictional guy ;)

2.) Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi- This was an amazing dystopian! I loved reading about Aria's and Perry's adventure throughout the book.

3.) Black City by Elizabeth Richards- Black City had a really unique idea, and I also loved the romance in it. I'm so excited to read the sequel once it comes out, Phoenix.

4.)Smart Girls Get What They Want by Sarah Strohmeyer- I absolutely LOVED this book. It's one of my favorite contemporaries ever and all the characters were so relatable to me. I'd recommend it to anyone!

5.) The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead- One Word... Adrian ;)

6.)Of Poseidon by Anna Banks- Of Poseidon's take on mermaids was great and the characters also were.

7.) Defiance by C.J Redwine- Defiance was the first fantasy novel I've ever really enjoyed and the storyline was so interesting :)

8.) The Friday Society by Adrienne Kress- I loved the female power in the book and the plot was amazing!

9.) The Selection by Kiera Cass- The Selection was one of the coolest books I've ever read and the cover is gorgeous.

10.) Take A Bow by Elizabeth Eulberg- The alternating point-of-views were great and the story was awesome!

What are your favorite books so far this year? :)

  1. I loved Of Poseidon! It's such a guilty pleasure book, and definitely not something I'd normally pick up. But it was a lot of fun, and oh my god that ending! Have you seen the cover for the sequel, Of Triton, yet? It's beautiful!
