Dare You To by Katie McGarry Book Review

Dare You To (Pushing the Limits, #2)
If anyone knew the truth about Beth Risk's home life, they'd send her mother to jail and seventeen-year-old Beth who knows where. So she protects her mom at all costs. Until the day her uncle swoops in and forces Beth to choose between her mom's freedom and her own happiness. That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does....
Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock-with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him.
But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams-and his life-for the girl he loves, and the girl who won't let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all....

Waiting on Wednesday: Starry Nights by Daisy Whitney

Starry Nights Seventeen-year-old Julien is a romantic—he loves spending his free time at the museum poring over the great works of the Impressionists. But one night, a peach falls out of a Cezanne, Degas ballerinas dance across the floor, and Julien is not hallucinating.

The art is reacting to a curse that trapped a beautiful girl, Clio, in a painting forever. Julien has a chance to free Clio and he can't help but fall in love with her. But love is a curse in its own right. And soon paintings begin to bleed and disappear. Together Julien and Clio must save the world's greatest art . . . at the expense of the greatest love they've ever known.
The cover for this is so gorgeous! I love how pretty the night sky and Eiffel Tower are. The storyline also sounds awesome, with one of the main characters being trapped in a painting. What are you waiting on? :)

The Book of Broken Hearts by Sarah Ockler Book Review

The Book of Broken Hearts
Jude has learned a lot from her older sisters, but the most important thing is this: The Vargas brothers are notorious heartbreakers. She’s seen the tears and disasters that dating a Vargas boy can cause, and she swore an oath—with candles and a contract and everything—to never have anything to do with one.
Now Jude is the only sister still living at home, and she’s spending the summer helping her ailing father restore his vintage motorcycle—which means hiring a mechanic to help out. Is it Jude’s fault he happens to be cute? And surprisingly sweet? And a Vargas?
Jude tells herself it’s strictly bike business with Emilio. Her sisters will never find out, and Jude can spot those flirty little Vargas tricks a mile away—no way would she fall for them. But Jude’s defenses are crumbling, and if history is destined to repeat itself, she’s speeding toward some serious heartbreak…unless her sisters were wrong?
Jude may have taken an oath, but she’s beginning to think that when it comes to love, some promises might be worth breaking.

Waiting on Wednesday: All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill

All Our Yesterdays"You have to kill him." Imprisoned in the heart of a secret military base, Em has nothing except the voice of the boy in the cell next door and the list of instructions she finds taped inside the drain.

Only Em can complete the final instruction. She’s tried everything to prevent the creation of a time machine that will tear the world apart. She holds the proof: a list she has never seen before, written in her own hand. Each failed attempt in the past has led her to the same terrible present—imprisoned and tortured by a sadistic man called the doctor while war rages outside.

Marina has loved her best friend James since the day he moved next door when they were children. A gorgeous, introverted science prodigy from one of America’s most famous families, James finally seems to be seeing Marina in a new way, too. But on one disastrous night, James’s life crumbles apart, and with it, Marina’s hopes for their future. Now someone is trying to kill him. Marina will protect James, no matter what. Even if it means opening her eyes to a truth so terrible that she may not survive it. At least not as the girl she once was.

All Our Yesterdays is a wrenching, brilliantly plotted story of fierce love, unthinkable sacrifice, and the infinite implications of our every choice.

This sounds so amazing! I love how mysterious and action-packed the plot seems. What are you waiting on? :)

Which Cover? #7

Hi everyone! It's the seventh edition of Which Cover? Here are four recent cover changes:

Immortal City by Scott Speer

Immortal City (Immortal City, #1)Immortal City

My Thoughts: Both- I like the picture on the newer cover, but I also think the older one looks a lot more intriguing ;)

Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan

Unspoken (The Lynburn Legacy, #1)Unspoken (The Lynburn Legacy, #1)

My Opinion: Older- The older cover is so pretty, while I think the newer is kid of creepy and definitely has a much darker feel.

The Au Pairs  by Melissa De La Cruz

The Au Pairs (The Au Pairs, #1)Beach Lane

My Opinion: Newer- The older cover is kind of awkward, but I love how pretty and pink the new cover is. I also love the title change!

Keeping The Castle by Patricia Kindl
Keeping the CastleKeeping The Castle

My Opinion: Older- I don't like either cover too much, but the castle on the original cover looks pretty cool.

Which covers do you prefer? :)
