Favorite Summer Reads

Hi everyone! For this post, two of the other cobloggers and I collaborated to bring you our favorite beach and summer reads. We hope you'll find a book you want to read in this post! :)

Rachel's Picks:

Reboot by Amy Tintera
Even though Reboot is a bit long for the typical beach read, it's such a fun book! Not only does the plot move at a fast pace, but it's also full of action, with just the right amount of romance. It has such a great concept and cast of characters, too - all aspects I think would make for a quick and fun beach read!

Blurred by Tara Fuller
Based on the cover, you wouldn't think that this was much of a light, beach read. In reality, though, it's much like its predecessor, Inbetween - sweet, addicting and absolutely fun to read! I especially liked Anaya and Cash's relationship - it wasn't just about good chemistry, but also about learning to deal with betrayal and the past. Highly recommended for paranormal romance fans!

Nantucket Blue by Leila Howland
The thing I liked about Nantucket Blue was that it wasn't just about having a romance or some fun over the summer. It's also about growing up and learning to accept things the way they are. Of course, there's still a good bit of romance and a light tone. But it's that combination that really made this a great beach read for me!

Sierra's Picks:

The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
A fun book with a bit of deep meaning and really good character development...but still really enjoyable.

Lola & The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
This book is just plain fun and awesome :D I just love it and if I wanted to relax, this would probably be the book I'd pick up.

The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
This is an old favorite that I'll always love. I read it when I was younger and I still love it. I'd definitely reread it on vacation, at the beach, whenever or wherever :)

Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2)The Goose Girl (The Books of Bayern, #1)The Truth About Forever

Montana's Picks:

Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
This is such an amazing story that manages to be both heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. Both the setting and characters make it the perfect summer read!

Golden by Jessi Kirby
One of my favorite books, Golden tells such an amazing story with so many memorable lines.

Perfect Scoundrels by Ally Carter
This is the most recent Ally Carter book, but every single book she writes has been so amazing! Perfect Scoundrels was such a fun read that I flew through.
I can't recommend her books enough :)
