“Find Me.”

Until her sister Lily is the next target. Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick. Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare. But she’s going to find this killer no matter what. Because it just got personal.

I don’t read too many suspenseful or creepy novels, but the plot of Find Me drew me in from the very start. The mystery caused the pages to fly by and all the characters were so amazing in their own different ways.

Wick was a computer hacker, who had just recently gotten out of a tough living situation with her dad and was being fostered along with her sister. After one of her old friends commit suicide, and she finds out that her own sister may be the next target, she’s determined to put her hacking skills to use to find out who’s after her sister.

Wick was an awesome heroine. She had to go through so much in her life, yet she still was so protective and cared about her sister. I really didn’t like her sister, Lily, at times and I wished she had been more understanding of the reasoning behind Wick not wanting to do certain things. I just wanted her to trust her sister more. For the plot, she definitely got into some pretty dangerous things.

The mystery was so creepy and unique. I kept trying to guess who was after Lily and the outcome was very different than I expected it to be. Along the way, Wick had help from Griffin, a super cute fellow hacker. I thought Wick’s and Griffin’s relationship was a very refreshing one. It was so different than other relationships in YA. Griffin liked Wick right off the bat, but there was definitely no insta-love.

I can’t say too much about the mystery without spoiling anything, but it was undoubtedly amazing. The ending wasn’t perfect, but it definitely left things open for a sequel. I’m so excited to continue on with the series! I’d give Find Me 4 out of 5 flowers :)

  3. I've never read a book about computer hackers but I surely love them in my anime. It's also nice to know that there's no insta-love as I get turned off by those. Thanks for the review!

  4. I thought this one was really unique too! I can't wait to learn more about Griff in the sequel. I agree that it somehow strayed away from insta-love even though Griff did like her. I think it helped that they'd already somewhat known each other before.
