Two Year Blogoversary and Giveaway

BlogButton

Hi everyone! It's so crazy that it's already my two-year blogoversary. I'm so happy I made the decision to start a blog and there were so  many awesome experiences along the way :)

Cool Events from 2013:
  • I got the chance to meet a blogger friend in real life. Lili from Lili's Reflections came to California and I got the chance to hang out with her and meet Gillian from Writer of Wrongs at a signing. Both of them are awesome and it was so much fun!
  • One of my real life friends became a blogger. Em from The YA Book Butterfly is amazing and she's now been blogging for just over 4 months. You should definitely check her blog out! There's lot of cool things she posts.
  • I opened up applications for bloggers, and three people joined The Book Belles team. Ariella, Sara, and Emily all are great and I'm so glad they joined The Book Belles team. They're all an amazing part of the team and they bring so much great new content to the blog.
  • The other cobloggers and I all hosted the first Book Belles readalong for Smart Girls Get What They Want. It's one of my all time favorites and I'm thankful so many people joined in.
  • Rachel from Beauty and The Bookshelf and I teamed up to host a Secret Santa, which was super cool. I've always wanted to host one! ;)
  • I got to meet Sarah Ockler, Morgan Matson, Jessi Kirby, and Sarah Dessen, who are all some of my favorite authors.
Things I'm Looking Forward to in 2014:
  • I'm hoping to interview more authors in 2014 and also do more blogger interviews! I already have one planned for January.
  • I'm also planning to do a recipe post next month.
  • Also, I'm so excited for all the fun events that are happening next year :)
Some Thank You's
  • First, I would like to thank all the publishers and authors who have sent me something for review. I'm so honored to have the chance to read so many amazing books. Thank you to HarperTeen, Random House, Spencer Hill Press, Simon and Schuster, Kensington Teen, Egmont, Macmillan, Harlequin Teen and Entangled Publishing. There's so many authors to thank, some of which include Kathleen Peacock, Leigh Ann Kopans, Anna Banks, and Sabrina Elkins.
  • There's so many amazing bloggers, and some whose blogs I visit every day. Katie's Book Blog is still one of my favorites. I also really like Blue Sky Bookshelf, Sunny is super nice and has an awesome blog, with some hilarious posts :) Becca and Krista from Nawanda Files have super great posts for both books and occasionally, some TV shows. I always love seeing their thoughts on these things. Juhina and Farah from Maji Bookshelf also make videos that are fun to watch! There's so many that I'm probably forgetting, and there's tons of great blogs.
  • I want to thank everyone who participated in the Smart Girls readalong. Thank you to Emily, Natalie, Rachel, Em, Katie, Marie, and Hannah
  • Lastly, I just want to thank every single person who's ever commented, subscribed, or even just visited my blog!
