Blogger Interview: Em from The YA Book Butterfly

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to feature Em from The YA Book Butterfly on the blog today. I've started back up with doing blogger interviews again. If you're interested, you can find the form here. Without further ado, here's the interview:

Describe yourself in 5 words:

I think that you would be better doing that!
Perfectly quiet, bookish, and creative.

How long have you been blogging and what's been your favorite blogging moment so far?

I have been blogging since August 2013.
I don't think that I have a favorite moment but I have loved getting to know all of the other bloggers out there!

What do you think inspired your love for reading?

I know some of the first books I read were the Nancy Drew books, I think that those made me fall in love with books.

If you could eat lunch with any author, who would it be?

For an alive author, either Ally Carter, Veronica Roth, or Marissa Meyer. And not alive would be Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, or the Bronte sisters.

What is your favorite post that you have written?

Each and every interview I have posted, particularly Romily Bernard's.

If you could choose any book to be made into a movie, what book would you pick? Who would you cast in the movie?

The Lunar Chronicles would be one of my top picks. I am really bad at casting so I won't bother with that. (I always cast the exact same people for all of the movies) ;-)

What's your favorite book that you read in 2013, if you had to pick just one?

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

  1. Oh this is such a great interview. I'd love to have lunch with Jane Austen oh imagine that! I mean I'd love to talk to her about her books and everything and I think that our conversation about Mr Darcy would be quite interesting. Great interview :)

  2. Enjoyed the interview! I also have a problem with casting as I just pick whoever I like regardless if they really fit the character from the novel.lol

  5. Another Marissa Meyer fan! Awesome! I think I would also pick similar authors if I could have lunch with them.
