  1. This month wasn't like January, but for now, I did read some really good books. I try to read comtemporary romance because it was love's month, but I read mostly fantasy. I really like this challenge so far! tysm.

  2. In terms of the challenge, do we have a time period for contemporary? I tried looking it up but there's so many different versions out there. I've seen it as anything published in the last 20 years, anything set around WW2 or after, anything set in the last 10 years.

    1. The way I look at YA Contemporary is if it deals with real stuff and is about real life things. It's not paranormal. It's not dystopian. But that's how I look at it. I don't know how others look at it. Also, you can always look on Goodreads. They have lists of contemps. Or if you look at a book in general on the right hand side it lists the genres if falls into. :)

    2. I think of a contemporary as anything set in the same time period it was written in (so not historical fiction), but not a classic- if that makes sense. I'd consider The Catcher in the Rye a classic, rather than a contemporary for instance. At the same time, I'd classify Judy Blume books as contemporary. Hope that helps! :)

  3. I was able to link up 5! I'm hoping to link up more next month because I just bought a whole bunch of contemps! I'm so happy to be participating in this challenge! Thanks for hosting it!

  4. I'm off to a slow start at one book, but Not In the Script was super amazing! Hopefully I'll read more contemporaries next month!
