See How They Run by Ally Carter Book Review

See How They Run (Embassy Row, #2)
Inside every secret, there's a world of trouble. Get ready for the second book in this new series of global proportions--from master of intrigue, New York Times bestselling author Ally Carter.

Grace's past has come back to hunt her . . . and if she doesn't stop it, Grace isn't the only one who will get hurt. Because on Embassy Row, the countries of the world stand like dominoes, and one wrong move can make them all fall down.
The twists get twistier and the turns get even more shocking in the second thrilling installment of Embassy Row.

Ally Carter's Gallagher Girl series was one of the first young adult series I read, and to this day, is still one of my all time favorites. She writes some of the best suspense-filled young adult novels. The Embassy Row series is another great series, filled with an amazing guy (as per usual Ally Carter style ;) and a crazy ending.

Alexei is such a swoony guy. Ally Carter is a master at building the best romances, in terms of just having small moments here and there that provide so much build-up and tension. I'm definitely rooting for him and Grace. As for Grace, she's an awesome, unique character. The secondary characters are intriguing and Grace's older brother, Jamie, plays a big role in this novel. I especially loved him as a character. The pacing never lets up and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.

See How They Run is action-packed and a novel easily read in one sitting. (There's so much intrigue and suspense). The ending was shocking, and the wait for the third book is going to be awful. It's such a cliffhanger ending, and I can't wait to see what will result from it. I'd give See How They Run 4 out of 5 flowers. Ally Carter novels never fail to impress and the Embassy Row series is no different! I was able to receive this title as part of Emma from Miss Print's ARC Adoption Program. Thank you so much, Emma! :)

  4. I'm so excited to pick this up! Hopefully I can do that soon. I love Heist Soc and GG so much! All Fall Down was actually a bit different for me than Ally Carter's previous books but I still liked it. Glad to hear you are enjoying the series!

  5. The first book of the series didn't wow me, so I don't think I've ever put this on my radar. Glad you enjoyed it, though!
